Sewing Withdrawal

I haven’t sewn anything in a week.

This is comical since this is supposed to be my month of sewing for others and getting presents all ready and wrapped up for people. The irony is not lost on me.

I just need to get back into it.

For fun, I’m working on something behind closed doors, aka email, that I think you’ll enjoy. I can tell you what it’s not. I’m not pregnant. I’m not starting a pattern company. I don’t have a new job.

Back to staring at the presents I want to sew. Stare stare stare. Stare stare stare.

I hear that. Been sick so I am staring at projects I am supposed to be cutting out and prepping for sewing machine return. A little birdie told me you were hunting for zipper pulls … Excited to see what you are staring at making!

Lol, it is kinda funny that the month you vowed to sew for others, is the same month you are taking a break. 🙂 (by the way, Kitty says he could beat you at a staring contest ANY day of the week….challenge ON!!!)

I haven’t sewn all week either, too sick to. But I have new shears and fabric and I know exactly what I want to do but just can’t find the energy to do it. Sew frustrating. 😉

I get into that kind of mood a lot, and it always seems to coincide with times when I commit to doing something. It’s almost like I psyche myself out of getting things done or some sort of funky reverse psychology by the simple act of declaring that I will do something! Looking forward to seeing what you’ve got going with the secret long zipper project.
