Our swimalong has come to a close but the party’s never over- and I mean the linky party! When you’re done with your swimsuit head on over to Katie’s blog to link up so we can see what you’ve made. The linky party will be open through the summer so you can share your suit with y our fellow swimalongers.

We started sharing some inspiration, from Victorian to 50s pinup style. One of my favorites was the scuba chic and the kids suits always make my ovaries make high pitched noises they’re so cute. The geek swimwear post barely scratched the surface of possibilities but hey they are so many ways to be a geek.

We had some great resources for where to buy fabric (and I wish we had more UK/EU resources), notionspatterns and swimwear construction help as well as some really wonderful guests including Brooke on constructing a one of a kind suitSarah’s pro tips and LadyK’s chic swim cover-up. Norma visited us as well to offer a tutorial on how to add an underwire to a swimsuit which I used for my Bombshell. If you find her approach helpful, you won’t want to miss out on her e-book. The other bewb related posts are about flattering a full bust and how to choose and attach swim cups. Feel free to ask any bra/bewb questions you may have about adding support to a swimsuit.

Katie and I gathered what we know and what other bloggers have detailed so well to bring you both inspiration and know how to your swimwear sewing. We really hope this has given you the impetus to make a suit for yourself, your kid, a family member or friend.

If you’d like to show off your swim make, please head over to Katie’s blog for the linky party.

Have a great time with your swimsuits and thanks for joining us! We had a blast planning and sharing with you!
