I have so many, yet so few words to describe what an amazing time I had. I’ll just show you pictures…I mean, really? who reads the dribble I write?
Go wear a costume!
in the hotel
Day 1 costume- I’ve been building these costumes for a bit of time. This is the product of a lot of hard work. I’m not done learning.
I took off the jacket, it was so warm in the hotel. So glad I had my Lekala blouse! And the sash was for volunteers.
Beautiful snow painting.
Snow pics and Day 2 costume. The front drape crapped out so I just took it off. And the beautiful parasol my friend in Michigan sent me! It’s so beautiful.
I made my friend’s skirt and draping bits.
Ready for the ball! Amity embroidered the mask and sent it to me because she’s an amazing friend! I added the gears and bling (which Amity sent me, too)
So, yeah, all I got was mirror shots!! Omg, I’m dying. What is wrong with me?? Corset, lingerie harness from hopeless lingerie, fingerless mittens, skirts and bustle underneath and my lovely crazy hair! On top I put the tulle head dress and a faux fur shrug I made.
And Sunday’s outfit. I love them all but I have a special spot in my heart for suiting…
Love all of them! I’m currently planning my big costuming weekend (GenCon…held just down from where you were). This is the year I really pull out some costumes. I can feel it. 😉
that’s exciting! I’ll see you at Gen Con!
You did a fabulous job. That looked like a lot of fun to be able to wear what you’d worked so hard on. Good job–everything was wonderful.
Oh, it looks like it was so much fun! And wonderful costumes for everyday! I love how you were able to use the Lekala blouse with your first outfit – perfect for when you have to shed a layer and it doesn’t look out of place. =)
OMG these are amazing! I love the black outfit – your waist looks teeny tiny! That must have been so much work! Did you have fun?
While I know you’ve been making most of these costumes over the last year, I’m still amazed. Glad you had a wonderful time. 🙂
You look amazing. I am glad you had a good time.
Love all the pictures!!
Great costumes Leila, glad you had such fun!
Those are wonderful dresses! Looking forward to see many more 🙂
oh wow, stunning costumes! I can’t even imagine how much work you must have put in to it. You look gorgeous in them!
Glad you had a lovely time. Love that first jacket and skirt! All of the outfits are gorgeous though!
